Easter Memories

I was realizing this week that we have many interesting Easter stories at our house. And lots of pictures to go along with them.

This year Sarah had been asking and asking to see the Easter Bunny. Not the one at the mall but an actual rabbit of some sort. We were stumped. But - this is what happened:

Jon had noticed the rabbit under the bench and told Sarah to quietly come and sit by the door. She did. After she sat down the rabbit climbed up the stairs to take a look back at her. They sat there like that for several minutes. It was amazing. 

She was thrilled because the Easter Bunny came to our house just to see her.

In 2009 we had a dinner at our house and of course the requisite egg hunt outside afterwards.

I still can’t decide if the kids look happy or cold, or just freaked out. I probably should send this one to that site with the awkward family photos.

From 2008 we at least have a way cuter picture of my Miss Pretty Pretty.

And in 2007 we were waiting (mostly) patiently for Sarah to be born. Weren't my boys little then? It doesn't seem like that long ago.

Thankful

Jason & Evan in 2007, shortly after Sarah was born.

• Our neighbor asked me to water her newly seeded lawn while she goes on vacation.
• A daughter who pretend plays that she is me.
• While we don't have everything we may want, we have way more than enough.
• We'll be celebrating my husband's 40th birthday in less than two weeks.
• Cooler weather means no more air conditioning and a smaller utility bill.
