Let's see. We drove down Friday afternoon. Sarah and I slept in the car. When we woke up we were, of course, in Kokomo. And everyone was starving so we stopped at Taco Bell to eat. By the way, I tried the Fresco Chicken Soft Taco and it was surprisingly tasty. Also, my tummy was not sick later. You know what I'm sayin'. Nuff said.
So we made it to the hotel and the kids staked their claims.
Of course we had to see what was on the television and we found the end of Monsters vs Aliens so we had to watch that. Sarah really likes the "big girl with white hair." I think because she's tough.
After that Cool Runnings came on. You probably don't remember that we watched that on family night once before. So of course we watched it again. Because if there's one thing our family loves it's re-watching silly movies we've already seen.
The most challenging part of the evening was getting Miss Pretty Pretty to go to sleep. Holy moly that girl was not tired. We declared Saturday officially "NO NAP" day for her.
Oh yeah, here's the view from our room. Not bad, eh?
So that's it for day one. Sound kinda normal and not real exciting? Good. That's just the way we like things some times. Wait until you hear about day two!
